Why Hunter, Shadow and Anchor cards sell for multiples of the plain version, which styles to hunt per position, and how to run it with filters.
Chemistry style trading is the closest thing in FUT to buying wholesale and selling retail. You are not betting on a player getting better. You are selling convenience: a card that is ready to put in a squad, right now, with the stats the buyer wanted.
Why the premium exists
A buyer who finds a plain card still has to find the style, buy it, and apply it. Most people will not do three steps when one is available, so a card with the right style already on it sells for noticeably more. That gap is the trade. You are paid for having done the boring part first.
Which style, which position
- Attackers — Hunter. The one buyers ask for by name. Pace and finishing, the two things people feel immediately.
- Attackers — Hawk as the second choice, and Engine will lift the price a little on the right card.
- Defenders — Shadow. The single biggest multiplier on a cheap defender.
- Defenders — Anchor when you want a card that appeals to a wider set of buyers.
Two ways to run it
Hunt cards that already have the style. Filter for the player, buy under your limit, relist higher. No extra work, smaller margin.
Buy the styles separately and apply them. Styles are cheap in bulk and the margin is bigger, but you are holding two kinds of stock. ABFut's quick-add chips cover Hunter, Shadow, Engine and Catalyst, so a style filter is one tap.

- Add one filter for the player and separate filters for the styles themselves. Both are bought under limits you set.
- Check the player's price graph before you decide the resale price — a card already at the top of its recent range leaves you no room.
- Keep the purchase limit low per card, and do not list ten copies at once. Flooding the market with your own stock is how the premium disappears.
- Set the sell price on the filter and let the app relist automatically; the estimated profit shown already has EA's 5% tax removed.
The part people underestimate
This trade rewards patience over volume. A card listed a little above the market may need relisting several times before the right buyer walks past. That is normal, and it is why the purchase limit matters: twenty cards you cannot move is not a profit, it is a warehouse.
