Silver card trading in FUT: the cheapest way to learn the market

Why silver cards are the safest place to start trading, which silvers actually sell, and how to set an ABFut filter for them.

Silver trading is the method most experienced traders recommend to anyone starting out, and the reason is not that it pays the most. It is that being wrong is cheap. A silver card costs one to five thousand coins, so a bad read on the market costs you a few hundred coins instead of a few hundred thousand.

Why silvers work at all

Two kinds of demand keep the silver market alive all year:

  • Silver SBCs and objectives. Every time EA puts out a challenge that needs silver cards of a certain league or nation, the cards that fit it get bought out within hours.
  • Silver Stars and cup squads. Players building silver-only teams need specific high-rated silvers, and there are never many on the market.

Both are narrow. That is the point: a narrow market moves on small amounts of buying, which is exactly what a filter can catch.

Which silvers to look at

  1. High-rated silvers (67 to 70). The scarce end of the silver pool, and the first thing squad builders search for.
  2. Silvers from popular leagues and nations. Premier League, Serie A, Brazil, France. League and nation are what SBC requirements are written in.
  3. Cards with a chemistry style already on them. The same rule as gold trading: a ready-to-use card sells faster and sells higher.

Setting it up in ABFut

  • Create a filter with quality set to silver and a league or nation that matches whatever silver SBC is live.
  • Use a bid price, not buy-now. Silvers are the market where bidding under the going rate genuinely works, because few people are watching those auctions.
  • Set the maximum purchase low, five to ten cards. Silver demand is real but thin; twenty identical cards will sit.
  • Check the profit line. ABFut already removes EA's 5% tax, and on a card worth 1,200 coins that tax is most of your margin.

Honest expectations

Silver trading will not turn 5,000 coins into a million. It will teach you how filters behave, how long cards take to sell and how much the tax really takes, all at a price where the lesson does not hurt. Most traders keep a silver filter running long after they have moved on to bigger cards, because it costs almost nothing to leave on.

ABFut automates searching, bidding and listing at prices you choose. It does not predict the market and it does not promise profit.

Questions people ask

Is silver trading in FUT worth it?

It is worth it as a way to learn with low risk rather than as a way to earn quickly. Silver cards cost roughly 1,000 to 5,000 coins, so a mistake costs a few hundred coins, and the margins are real whenever a silver SBC or a silver-only objective is live.

Which silver cards sell best in FUT?

High-rated silvers around 67 to 70 from popular leagues and nations, because those are what silver SBC requirements and silver-only squad builds ask for. A chemistry style already applied to the card makes it sell faster.

Should I bid or buy now on silver cards?

Bid. Few players watch silver auctions, so auctions often end below the buy-now price. Set the bid limit in your ABFut filter and let it work through the listings instead of paying the asking price.
