Future Stars Lands Oct 9 as Destined for Glory Wraps

Big calendar shift in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team: Future Stars is set to launch on October 9, far earlier than its usual post-TOTY slot. That lines up with Destined for Glory ending the same day, so the promo switch happens back-to-back.

What this means for your club

• Destined for Glory SBCs and objectives expire around Oct 9 — finish anything worthwhile (including the Haaland-led Team 2 content) before it's gone.
• Future Stars traditionally showers packs with high-potential young talent and upgradeable cards, so expect a fresh meta of cheap-but-growing players.
• Fodder demand usually spikes the day a new promo drops. If you've been hoarding 83-85 rated players, the days right before launch are often the smarter sell window.

EA's wider roadmap then rolls into Ultimate Scream and Hall of FUT Unleashed later in October, keeping content dense all month. With Future Stars arriving this early, the player pool stays fresh and SBC solutions will shift fast.

Lock your Destined for Glory rewards now and keep coins ready for the Future Stars drop on Oct 9.
